The Cassin's Sparrow found by Maggie Smith at Villa Creek--Estero Bluffs SP on 12/4 continues this morning. First heard it's distinctive chip, then saw the bird pop up on the rock here: (35.4566577, -120.9629421). Later, prolonged views with handful of birders while the bird foraged in shrubs along the north trail (about 100 feet west of the original sighting).
