Before  8 am this morning 5 birders got very close looks at the sparrow. It was still in the general vicinity I described yesterday and then flew to narrow trail that bisects the two main trails.  There it slowly worked its way toward coming with 4 feet of the birders and cameras.

The bird is in molt but   I'm sure it won't look like shorebird..
