Cassin's Sparrow Villa creek

The Cassin’s Sparrow continued this morning. It was in the same general area Maggie described in her post yesterday and mostly foraging in the grasses between small sawtooth goldenbush shrubs (Hazardia squarrosa). Very tame bird. Lots of photos and eBird checklists will be available at some point today.

This morning I Had a Cassin 's Sparrow seen on the bluff just north of the Southern Trail down from the parking area. I wasn't sure what species it was but Curtis Marantz ID'd from my photo.
