Very uncommon in S SLOCo these days a female Canvasback, first seen yesterday off the Pismo Pier, joined other ducks at Pismo Creek mouth this morning.  Also of modest interest in the creek mouth, amongst the mass of Ruddy Ducks and coots, two Greater Scaup loafed nearby.

The male Varied Thrush (or at least "a" male Varied Thrush) continues in riparian habitat along the entrance road to Biddle Park off Lopez Drive.
