During this morning’s 6.6 ft. high tide both sparrows were seen along the Morro Bay State Park Marina Boardwalk. As usual they were in the “corner” (where the boardwalk turns to the west) close to the southeast beginning of the boardwalk. Both birds were best seen on the northern side of the boardwalk but spent time on both sides. Given the date they are probably here for the winter though Nelson’s in particular often disappears (moves?) in Dec or Jan. Another 6.6 ft. high tide tomorrow morning.
