I was curious to see if the geese had continued over night so headed up to Whale Rock at daybreak. I counted around 60 GWFG, all close to the near shore. Grazing with them was the Snow Goose. 10 Cackling Geese were seen in the same location. More of any may have been present in the area but unseen by me.
