Big Sit preliminary results

With a small surge just around sundown, our total for the Elfin Forest Big Sit stands at 90 species. Not our highest number for the count, but not for lack of trying.

Starting at about 30 minutes before sunrise, and ending in the twilight after sunset, our stalwart crew of about 10 birders during the day scoured the area as far as our scopes would allow. 

And by the way, there is no sitting involved. It really should be called the Big Stand. Thank you very much to those who joined in the effort yesterday.
