Just a reminder for anyone interested, and for the birders that have requested time slots, the big sit takes place all day tomorrow at Lupin Point in the Elfin Forest Preserve in Los Osos. The point is best reached from the north end of 13th in Los Osos, or take the boardwalk from the end of 16th Street. It's the uppermost viewing platform of the two in the forest.
This spot has been the top spot in the country in the past, and the potential for a high count is good. Today the fog was problematic, with limits to the viewing distance, but that can easily change.
