The elusive oriole was again seen by birders this morning around 10:00 as it moved about on the hillside and brush near campsite #10.

Monarch Dunes
While golfing today at Monarch Dunes, I observed more Hooded Mergansers, 4 males and 9 females all on the pond off of hole #12, then on hole #13, a peregrine falcon nabbed a coot.

Oso morning
Two snow geese flew in and stayed on the lake for five minutes and then left. Many black bellied plovers and one Wilson snipe flying over. Merlin, first seen Oct. 30, and burrowing owl still present.
