At 10 AM the Common Ringed Plover was at the same location it was present at the past two days. It appears that the tide needs to be high enough to flush birds from Morro Bay. It was not seen during

The plover is a male in breeding plumage. It was present to at least 12:15 today in approximately the same location it was found yesterday, which is about 4 miles north of the sandspit parking lot off

Thanks, Kevin. I'm remembering that the last time I saw a sign on the road down to the Sandspit parking lot, it said the road opened at 8:00 AM. Someone might clarify if they know better than that.
