- Comments: "Continuing adult male found by Kathleen Kent on Oct 15, 2021 was observed feeding in pine tree and coffee berry bushes behind campsite #8. Except for white stripes on face, vertical white wing patch and white rump, bird was black on top from crown and nape to tail, Underneath, bird was mottled white and black on sides, yellow on belly, black on chest and neck and had a red throat patch."

- Comments: "Small brown passerine with pale supercilium, yellow undertail, white throat, white underside with streaky brown flanks and chest. Heard Palm Warbler chip call from bottlebrush trees in western creek (west of Exposition Dr.).

Spotted bird pumping tail as it foraged into view. Bird flew from creek bushes to backyard tree, into ivy along fence line, then southward out of sight. A few moments later the bird returned to same creek bushes and trees.

Looking at photos and short vid clip I noticed dark eyeline, broken eyering and interesting malar stripe patterns. Also noticed in video that the flicks were mainly in a fast, downward motion.

This species was last seen in park on March 31, 2019 by Herb Elliott (https://ebird.org/checklist/S54423649). First recorded in park on Dec. 4, 2018 by Phil Dunn, also in the far western creek area (https://ebird.org/checklist/S50434740)."

- Comments: "We found it rather quickly in pines on west side of park (next to restroom), but getting good views (and photos) was another matter; it was small gray warbler with white wing bars and prominent yellow throat (and upper breast) and supercilium (from eye forward); it was chipping, but I wasn’t able to hear it :-("
