The Pectoral Sandpiper found separately yesterday by Norm, Petra and Dave continues at the Alva Paul lagoon in the central area of Morro Strand State Park - and was seen earlier today by Nick Belardes and Tom Edell.
I found it by itself constantly moving and feeding. Short, slightly downturned bill, yellow legs, sharp demarcation between densely striped breast and white belly plus generally larger size were good indicators for me.
