- Comments: "At the mouth of the harbor. Seen well with a scope. Two juveniles and three adults. Saw two juveniles and one adult together, then two more adults in quick succession. Small gulls, slender and pointy wings, wingbeats a bit stiffer than, say, Mew or California Gull. Adults generally pale, light gray above and white below. Primaries paler than secondaries, wingtips with a solid black triangle. Juveniles with characteristic dark M on wings."

- Comments: "Bright red bird, dim gray on wings, definite tanager shape and size. Was flitting around the top of some Eucalyptus. Known spot where this bird is being seen. Known to come to fruit put out at 2700 Koa Ave,, but I saw it only in the tree tops."
