MCAS is recruiting a WEBMASTER for the MCAS website

Morro Coast Audubon Society (MCAS) is looking for a tech-savvy person to be their Webmaster, using Google Blogger to maintain the MCAS website (, and to be the manager of other related Google Apps and non-Google Apps. This position will be under the supervision and direction of the MCAS Communications Chair. 


This is an hourly paid position, with a competitive hourly rate, that is expected to average 6-10 hours/week.

Webmaster duties would include: posting information about events, announcements, and special programs; updating the theme/header/footer/sidebar; and updating an array of web pages, such as MCAS Bird Finding Guides and MCAS Annual Christmas Bird Counts, with input from various MCAS board members.

Google Apps that this person would fully or partially manage are: Blogger, Drive, Docs, Calendar, Groups, Photos, Account, and My Business.

Non-Google Apps that this person would fully or partially manage are: PayPal (buttons) and GoDaddy (forwarding addresses).

This person would, as needed, attend the monthly MCAS board meetings.

To promote the appreciation, conservation, and restoration of ecosystems, 
focusing on the biological diversity of birds, other wildlife, and their habitats, 
particularly in San Luis Obispo County, California.
