- Comments: "Continuing. Photographed by Dave Keeling on 4 Nov. Relocated by Brad Schram on Sunday, Dec. 6th. From Tom Edell: "This is the fifth county record and the first documented with photos. The first county record reportedly involved a male shot by a hunter at Morro Bay in 1948."

Found 1/2 way between the Cypress Street Bridge and ocean. There is a pile of rocks that comes
down to the water on the campground side of the creek. It was with group of 2 male Surf Scooters, Buffleheads, and American Coots. When preening it turned completely on its back to work on belly feathers. After preening it tucked up and floated with a group of 5 Bufflehead. Later, on our return, we observed it swimming in the same area.

- Comments: "About 0.5 miles from the end of the (dirt) road we pulled over by the side of the road and observed from a relatively open area. Joshua was the first to spot the California Condor soaring high in the sky on "flat" wings, i.e. without wing flapping, however with occasional single wing tipping and slight body rocking. --- Black wings with primaries spreading out to form long “fingers;” white patches running from the wingpits along the leading edge of the underwings producing a long, narrow white triangle on anterior half of wing underside; depending on the light the upper wings show some white; relatively short tail;
