- Comments: "At 35.3172115,-120.8528243 around 9am. Great views of CSWA male feeding low in willow. Chestnut sides, white eye ring, greenish cap and nape, black streaks on upper back, bold whitish-yellow wing bars, grayish face, neck, chest and underbelly. No vocalizing."

- Comments: "Yellow face with dark line through the eye; yellow breast; white wing bars; thin, pointed bill; short, dark, somewhat "ratty" tail and when spread it showed white outer tail feathers. The bird was observed preening on top of a willow and when it was leaning forward, ready to fly off, a whitish belly and white undertail coverts were visible."
