- Comments: "Continuing near Post 6. Bird absent upon arrival, materialized around 5 minutes in. Adorable gracile sandpiper with a long neck, short thin Bill, and large-eyed dove-like face. Densely patterned above and warm sandy buff-brown below. Longer-winged in flight than nearby Sanderlings. Looped back to restricted area after only a minute or two in view."

- Comments: "Seen were reported by others over the last several days. Seen 200 yards off beach through Swarovski 95 scope at 70 power. Too far for camera shot. Small chubby seabird with small dark beak, in non breeding black and white plumage."
