Red-eyed Vireo, American Redstart, Indigo Bunting

The Red-eyed Vireo continues at Pecho Willows in Los Osos. It was singing at 8:10 this morning in the northwestern corner of the grove of trees best reached by taking the dirt path that meanders back from Pecho at the end of Henrietta Ave. (watch for poison oak and ticks). The American Redstart continues in the willows and oaks along Nancy, between Binscarth and Garden. It chips occasionally and is generally by itself. The Indigo Bunting was still along Quintana, near Morro Bay (If you're going toward Highway 1 on South Bay Blvd. - turn right on Quintana - away from Morro Bay) midday yesterday. Go past †he mobile home park. It was sporadically singing in the willows next to the dirt road that goes right out into the ag. fields, and on the highway side of Quintana, in willows and coyote brush toward the veterinary clinic.
