- Comments: "Bird was feeding on seal carcass very near the boardwalk. It remained in close view during my entire visit. The only color other than pure white that I could see both in the field and in my photos was dusky tan on a few of the scapulars. The eyes were dark which would indicate a first cycle bird at this date. The bill showed a pink base and black tip showing no black intruding into the bill beyond the tip."

- Comments: "While examining robin flock, looked up and saw Oriole. Light yellowish belly, orange splotches on breast, a bit of orange undertail. Line through eye. Guessing female. Bird foraged high in deciduous next to pine in far eastern side of park next to horseshoe pit. Lots of activity in tops of trees in that area compared to earlier in day. Wasn’t able to get a photo."
