Two firsts today. First black bellied Dunlin of the year. Also a flock of about 30 Surfbirds feeding on the rock by the north stairs. It was short but sweet as the incoming tide pushed them north, I assume they headed for the rocks north of Cayucos. Largest group of surfbirds I've ever seen.
