San Francisco Homeschoolers Sfhomeschoolers@groups.ioIf you’re looking for a supportive homeschooling community in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, you’ve come to the right place! The San Francisco Homeschoolers group is an all-inclusive, enthusiastic community focused on fun, friendship, and support for all homeschooling and unschooling families in the Bay Area. To join our group, you will need to fill out an application, and to be a current homeschooling family in the Bay Area. Contact our membership coordinator at email@example.com with a brief description of your family and why you would like to join.
After joining, you’ll find that members in our group have children of all ages. From the youngest children to teens, we seek to collaborate on on events that serve everyone’s needs. Every week, you will find us at Park Day, a gathering at a local San Francisco green space or playground. Events are posted well in advance so you will know where and when we’ll be meeting.
All of the members in our group are encouraged to bring their ideas to the forum for discussion. By working as a team, we can create the social networks we’ve always wanted for ourselves and our homeschooled children. We represent a wide variety of approaches to homeschooling. Do you identify with Eclectic, Unschooling, Curriculum-based, Project-based, Classes part-time, Life-Learning, Montessori, Waldorf, or Charlotte Mason? Chances are very good that in this group, you will find others who are like-minded. As a group, we do not hold one approach above another. The ways in which we approach homeschooling may look a bit different from one another, but make no mistake: we are all in this thing together.
