Hi,
I have put up another version which should load an almost complete build of modules of the codebase: By should I mean, they were loaded at my host, and are waiting to be tested with other environments. ( One volunteer showed up and offered me a remote machine with: Nuand BladeRF Micro, LimeSDR Micro, RFSpace. I think that would be very interesting and utterly needed to come to an end of the runtime "beta" testing for OS X releases. \ o / !!! ) Please aware, that may be the dylibs duplication, where if your system had already installed some of the versions.... I would be very happy if some problems occur, which will do, that you try to run from Terminal app and report logs to me so I can see conflicts. Ok, I did a quick try to the 20190103_003001 version using hackrf and bladerf micro.
Both works flawlesly (at least on reception) except for one thing. No matter the samplerate used, everytime y move the pointer (cursor) the output sounds chopped. About this, I found something insteresting (?): The more time I move the mouse (pointer) over the SDRangel window, the more the audio gets "delayed". I'll try to explain: every "silence" (chop) between sound "moves" the audio to a buffer or something. A little example: If I move the mouse for 10 seconds when I press stop on SDRangel keeps "playing" the audio for (let's say 3 seconds). If I move the mouse for 30 seconds then the delay after the stop lasts 8 or 10 seconds. Any idea? Many thanks.

Sounds interesting, I am speculating few options, but I would have to deep further if this is really an OSX only issue. I have already noticed that sound buffer queue could be quite large, becuase I have noticed that enqueuing is still performed, after I have clicked quit button, but I did not see the corelation with Y mouse axis. That's very odd or unusual :) I don't have any knowledge yet about linux/windows experience on this, may they have the same issue... What I was willing to debug one day is the application exit, while it is not always clean... I think this could somehow be correlated with the sound chopping, especially when GUI thread has so much affect on sample processing, which would need to be run at plugin(input) thread usually. I do know, that I haven't noticed that on v3.x versions and exiting/stopping of read process was almost in sync. Perhaps you should open an issue @github regarding this malfunction. (I understood you that both hardwares have the same effect, so the problem could be somewhere in the core) Thanks for cooperation! Cheerz, Z

There is some more information in dev-docs, about how (de)constructing is made from v3.4 version.
On the end it could only be an OSX/QT issue especially when it's totaly linked to Y-mouse axis:) Will give it a try and observation later on.

First of all, thanks for your hard work in packaging SDRAngel for MacOS. I tried to build myself with 10.14 and Apple LLVM 10.0.0 but I receive the following error "invalid operands to binary expression" something probably connected to libstdc++ and changes in the new libc. Just for curiosity, which platform are you using to build? use qt creator or cmake? Nice and thanks for your report/struggle :) Build machine I use MacOS 10.12.6, with QtCreator and Apple LLVM version 9.0.0 (clang-900.0.39.2). When I use newer OS X(Mojave) I am now sure what to expect when I will be building it myself, thanks :) Usually when I build with QtCreator, I have also some HW & other dependencies built manually and those found in macports, installed through port. To my opinion build is far from being perfect, but it works for now and for few people. That's why I have build a small deployment script(sdrangel/apple/deploy.sh), which packages those dependant libs and fixes most of the linking issues. My goal for the future would be to set up an VM for MacOS continuous integration builds, where plan would be using cmake as the build orchestrator. libmirisdr.4.dylib is packaged and I see that it links to unresolved libusb dylib. Will fix that, with the next build, I am just curious where did he got this path for libusb .... :) nonetheless my environment is not clean, when establishing a VM, I 'll have a better env to cleanup those problems. Audio devices works with my osx version, where I am not sure for SSB, will check how it performs with HackRF. Hello rainbow, i noticed same library error during load of SDRangel package and tried your tips to resolve that: 1. -> Putting libmirisdr.4.dylib in /usr/local/lib resolves the first. 2. -> Linking /usr/local/lib/libusb-1.0.0.dylib to /src/staging/openocd/macos64/lib/libusb-1.0.0.dylib fix the second. but only got error (as root): Andres-iMac:Frameworks alpha$ sudo cp /Applications/SDRangel.app/Contents/Frameworks/libmirisdr.4.dylib /usr/lib/ Password: cp: /usr/lib/libmirisdr.4.dylib: Operation not permitted can you specify how you do that exactly pse? My guess is that it should not be needed to copy libmirisdr.4.dylib, just to fix the linkage of the libusb-1.0.0 has improper path... After linkage is fixed, the libmirisdr would load normaly from Contents/Frameworks... Cheerz, Z

I am trying to get my Pluto working, but it does not appear in the device list. Do you have a new DMG with sdrangel with an included Pluto plugin? Or do I have to install libiio first? I am sorry, but I find it very hard to understand what I have to do. My OS is High Sierra 10.13.6. thanks
