i saw issues with my hackRF if firmware you use dont forward serialnumber into os (this happens especcially with custom fw like portapack.

if you face this issue, i can send you a fixed fw image for portapack.

For verify use hackRF_info on cli

Ethan,

I have NFM Rx working with the apt install of limesuite:
limesuite is already the newest version (20.01.0+dfsg-2).

Here is a screenshot of my config on a 2m FM gateway:

Mick/Edouard,

I am also playing with SDRAngel on 20.04 (having seen and disregarded
the 18.04 advice). However, I was building none of the LimeSDR
functionality nor paying attention to the TV libraries.

I'm having difficulty with the audio output for NFM from a Pluto, but
I have not spent a lot of time troubleshooting yet! I will correspond
once I have 1) made progress or 2) downgraded to 18.04. :)

Hi Mick,

I thought I made it clear that only Ubuntu 18.04 is supported at the moment. However someone else might have an idea.

Ubuntu Focal Fossa 20.04 LTS and libraries

Edouard,

I see the snap available in 20.04 LTS is an old 5.1.0. When I run it it does not detect my LimeSDR Mini, so I move on.

I have grabbed the release version 4.14.5-1 and due to the nuances of 20.04 LTS I have to install using dpkg -i, this works and it detects my lime mini and functions with the decoders that make it through the install. But does grumble about the following libraries, which I guess is down to the 20.04 package list (libavcodec58 is the version in 20.04, etc):

sudo dpkg -i sdrangel_4.14.5-1_amd64.deb

Hello,

you can try to reduce the "txDelay" parameter of "RemoteSinkSettings". This is a percentage of the nominal time length of a UDP frame that is added as a delay after sending an UDP packet. This is necessary mostly on WiFi links to pace the UDP flow that is not self paced in nature. However the Remote Sink is not designed for very high throughput. You may also set nbFECBlocks to 0 to bypass the FEC calculation and reduce the payload overhead if you are confident enough in your network link.

Should work with the Pluto as Receiver.  I used the RTL SDR stick as receiver.
Today, I filled in all settings in the DATV demodulator window. (333000 Symbols/s, FEC 2/3, DVB-S2, QPSK)
Filter: FIR LINEAR. Flipped on the tx in the Pluto and it synced very fast,  MOCD QPSK 2/3 will pop-up at the right side of the DVB-S2 setting.

Hello David,

yes this is the subject of this issue not yet implemented: https://github.com/f4exb/sdrangel/issues/493 and indeed plan is to use the transverter function.
