Hi James

I am probably far too late but is your 1.2m dish still available? If so I am very interested in it.

All you will need is some sat cable and a cheap SDR dongle or similar capable of 739 mhz.

Free to a good home but you must collect

I have just calculated QSO counts using the logs vs operator slot.  This means that the operator switching doesn't matter.  The numbers don't change.  I have posted a graph on the club site to show how the QSO count changed per hour.

Here is a breakdown per hour (when M4W was on) of QSO's per hour.

You maybe correct Dom, I have worked the QSO’s per op based on the operator value in N1MM, if Ctrl+O was not used to change Op, the last used operator would have been recorded.

Regarding run rate, let me see what I can get for you, but I would tend to agree on the Saturday we all seemed to be about 30.

Hmmm, interesting. I could swear that I worked more than 19, but I guess the logs don't lie. When Marc and I were working out the QSO run rate, we both came up with about 30 an hour. I guess we were both rubbish at maths. :)

All the same, a pretty good score. Is there a breakdown of points per operator? Not that important, but I like statistic.

Thanks for sorting the logging.

Cheers,

Dom.

I have now submitted the M4W log I have extracted some information for you, if anything is missing please let me know – NOTE I will be away for the rest of the week so responses with further details maybe delayed.

Hi all,

What a great weekend at Barbury, I certainly enjoyed it and I think all three call signs performed well. Perhaps James or Andy can share the raw results?
In the meantime, here are some photos I took with the phone. If others have more photos, please add them here.

Re: Club Badges

Hi Marc, Might not make club this week to collect my badge - it will be a heavy duty day for the XYL at the John Radcliffe and will have to see how things go; but if not, will definitely be at the next club night. Bob ‘VTA.

SOTA Presentation tonight cancelled due to Covid, sorry ...

Marc (M0KYB)

Hi all,

I tested positive on Sunday and was hoping to get rid of it before today but ... sadly not ... I am still testing positive so unfortunately, the SOTA presentation will have to happen at a later date. My apologies to everyone, especially Viv.

Best wishes
