I noticed on TV news that a second tram has been put into operation on the Franchhoek line.
The tram differs from the original one in that it is a double Decker type.
I also noticed that the tram was at GrootDrakenstein station - when I traveled on the tram a few years ago it only went about 5 km from Franchhoek, it never even went over the Berg River bridge.
I am not quite sure of the "Franchhoek" spelling.
