How to confirm districts with HQSL without RDA written

F4GVO

Hi Aadu, hi folks

Checking my HQSL confirmation, I found several Russians QSOs confirmed but WITHOUT any RDA information on the HQSL.
I then checked on https://cfmrda.ru/#/ and of course I found the missing information.

ALL this HQSL are new RDA for me

It is my understanding that all Russians stations are living necessarily in, at least, one district, like for us, French stations, we necessarily live in a French department but also in a "canton" (administrative district)...

That said,  how can I validated these QSO to increase my numbers ?

Thanks in advance,

73 de Thierry

P.S. thanks Aadu for having review and confirmed my miswritten callsign on some logs a few days ago.

Hi Thierry!

The same thing has happened to me several times. I use to send an e-mail and politely ask if the operator would be so kind and upload a new QSL to Hamlog.ru with the RDA on the card. It usually helps. Good Luck!

Nevertheless, I don't understand why it is not possible to upload screenshot, as we may do with LOTW confirmation , our HQSL card to mydx.eu ?
Like every award, all is about good faith and we "fixed station", I can't see where it maybe a problem to validate these QSL..
Maybe, Aadu may give us his lights about that subject

Thierry,

if the QSO is within the dates shown on cfm.rda, just scan the QSL and upload.

Jim, G3ZQQ

Oh many thanks Jim for the tips ! It will be easier

Have you tried?

I got it rejected: cfmrda database is accepted only with LotW.
So, for HAMLOG only records with  RDA defined are accepted.

But it was some time ago...

Hi Iztok,

Yes it was my understanding that HQSL card without RDA information are not accepted, which for my point of view, shouldn't be if the QSO range is compatible with the RDA information found on https://cfmrda.ru/#/callsignsRda, because it is the same thing when you confirm RDA using LOTW "qsl card", RDA is (still) not displayed so what is the difference between the two system. Both are enough robust to avoid cheating !

Right now, I have 6 HQSL in review, I hope it will be ok.

hi thierry, for me same problem, hamlog must oblige all ham operator to write rda in profilpage and qsl. 73 rubens

Hi Rubens,

Thanks for your input.
I do agree, it should be an obligatory option for all Russians stations.

Hi Thierry,

Occasionally hams have sent me scans of their QSL, filled in with all the QSO details. Then I send it to MyDX.eu and Aadu will take care of the rest. I think that is the quickest way. But tell me, please, how to ”upload screenshot” of LOTW verifications. I’ve asked several people about this but I have, so far , got no answer.

Hi Ken,

It’s very easy, go to mydx.eu and check on your page ”Send scans from PC”.

You will see; RDA    - - -> insert the RDA you want to confirm and upload the file from your PC.

You have to download a screenshot on your PC first from the QSL on LoTW.

Hi Ken,

Rudy was quicker than me and explain well the procedure. Thanks Rudy !

Here is just my to cents to get your "screenshot" from LOTW:
when connected to your LOWT account you go to YOUR QSO. Then on "Call Sign Worked", you put the Russian station you are looking for. Then, click on Submit.
You will have a table with the QSO information. Check the last column named "QSL". Click on the name of the DXCC and when the QSL is displayed on your screen, you must take screenshot, as Rudy wrote, of this QSL. This is file file you must upload then as explained by Rudy.

Thanks guys for sharing tips and tricks with others here (I never used
LOTW, this is why I never said anything)

Unfortunately LOTW developers were not willing to integrate RDA into
their system, so the only way is through manual labor, sending QSL
screenshots to mydx.eu

73 and happy upcoming Christmas season!

For info, just checked and all my HQSL which where under review have been flagged as INVALID SCAN.......
So
Jim, G3ZQQ was wrong and as I expected at the beginning, this way is not accepted..... I can NOT understand what is the difference with LOTW "qsls" which have not and never had RDA included as Aadu wrote a few hours ago......... anyway........  back to square one....

Thierry!

This is my position, if it is possible to specify the RDA number on HQSL, then it must be specified correctly and correctly. As soon as we get the LoTW team to specify the RDA number, LoTW scans will also be accepted exclusively with the correct RDA number.

Thanks Roman for your input.

I do understand and I agree with you. For example, in my paper QSL card, my French department  number is well indicated with the mention "DDFM" which is the award name for French departments award BUT I have also added on my HAMLOG profile in the County/Province field. Doing that,  my HQSL card is ok for this specified award.

I do think, as Rubens wrote about Hamlog.online, the RDA field should be obligatory to fill with their districts for all  Russians stations using Hamlog.
