marathon. We had no idea what to expect from it, only hope was that it
will increase RDA activator/hunter activity on the air. Well - that

in UA9 are longer compared to UA3. Anatoly's final RDA count is 342
(30 less than RK3AW) which is also a truly fantastic result and I
believe Anatoly's driving distance was even bigger than Oleg's.

Even though we promised to produce a plaque only for winners, we
decided that Anatoly's commitment must be awarded with a nice plaque
as well, so we'll be producing activator plaques for both, first and
second place this year.

In hunters category - 2021 winner was Vasily, RA9AJ. Can you believe
it - he worked a staggering 2421 different RDA's last year! Honestly -
I NEVER anticipated that kind of number. This is a phenomenal
achievement and only God knows how many hours Vasily spent on the air
every day
We had to decide what to do in 2022. After hearing and analyzing
different feedback from various sources, we decided to repeat the 'RDA
marathon' in 2022. This year we'll create a separate category for
hunters - 'Foreign (non Russian) hunter'.

I guess many of you are thinking 'why not a plaque for top-3 of each
category?'. Answer is simple - I'm currently funding this out from my
own pocket and I need to draw a line somewhere.
So - we'll produce and ship good looking plaques for 2021 to RK3AW,
UB8S, RA9AJ soon.
Again - I hope you all will have a good 2022 and we hope to see in
"RDA marathon 2022"

Hi!
I would like that too, but I think it is not possible.
Every russian  ( or/and any ) station choose where to send their log. LotW, Hamlog, mydx.eu ...or paper QSL.. You can not force anyone...
If no other way send paper QSL card, I do that.

Good thing might be for mydx.eu... no green background colour field for any station which do not send logs to mydx.eu  6 months.

Hi!

QSL cards must indicate RDA.
HQSL card must indicate RDA.
LotW, for some reason, are accepted withoud RDA: RDA is taken from cfmrda database.
Roman explained this few times.
E-qsl etc is not accepted at all.

Life is not perfect. HAMs are live people.
Some simply do not care. Some hate RDA program, because they have pileups form us hunters.
Some just put something (wrong RDA on hamlog). Some move around and do not update RDA.
Some use old QSL cards with wrong RDA. Some upload withoud /P, /M, /QRP, /0 etc.
(I got few hamlog HQSLs rejected with "operator put wrong RDA on hamlog" exxplanation).

WIth hundreds of russian hunters, inlcuding cfmrda challenge, I hope they will take care.

Sollution for me is simple: work another station from RDA. And another.

As a bonus: LOG uploading opens possibility to have RDA confirmed without QSO. LOGging error etc.
I found few QSOs at time/band when I was not QRV.
