Hi!
It is common for some special CALL to use different QTH. One FT8, one CW, one SSB for example. Or one for each of the bands. Thus, several RDAs might be reported for same CALL on the same day. So, HAMLOG entry is more valid as cfmrda entry. Sometimes OPs make mistakes: I've seen different RDA for mydx and hamlog for the same QSO. 73 gl Iztok

RDA SA-30 / SA-58 correction?
Andy - DL1DXX
Hi all I'm checking my HQSLs and found that one from R1961GT Hamlog says, RDA SA-30 .. cfmrda says, RDA SA-58 Both are from 6th Aug. 2021. Which one is correct? If HQSL is correct, I think that cfmrda should be corrected. But who is the one who can do this? Yes, I can send an email via cfmrda website, but it is not possible to add the pictures... vy 73, Andy - DL1DXX

Re: RDA 2500 in a year?
Iztok Saje
Hi!
How aout 2020? Old hamlog.eu data was checked for confirmed Rayons. In 2020, there were 2219 different rayons. Last were confimed in May 2021 (probably QSL cards via buro). So, 2021 is much better: till today, 2432 were confirmed, and activators are all around making QSOs. 73, GL, Good hunting Iztok, s52d

Re: hamlog import - wrong RDA entries or missing RDA entries - and other things
ra3r
Hi!
My position is, if we can specify the
RDA number on HQS, then it must be. If the operator intentionally
does not specify a number, then such an HQSL is not counted.
As soon as we get ARRL to add the RDA number to LoTW, then this condition will be mandatory for LoTW. At the moment, the set-off conditions for LoTW are less complicated than for HDSL. 73! RA3R

I think all we need is an evidence for valid QSO data and a credible source which RDA was worked at that time. When I send a screen shot of LotW's "QSO-Details" and a screen shot of "CFMRDA call database" with the fitting RDA, all works well ... I get the QSO confirmed. But when I sent a screen shot of "HQSL hamlog" + "CFMRDA database" I get "Invalid Scan". I see no difference between both methods ... is also my opinion that hamlog-qsl + CFMRDA screen must be accepted. 73 Rudy I3VWK

hamlog import - wrong RDA entries or missing RDA entries - and other things
Christian Proehl <dl6jan@...>
Hi Aadu and all, A view weeks ago we have discussed RDA import from hamlog.ru to mydx.eu. Concerning the correction of wrong RDA entries my last information was: "We are hardworking on this issue and in near future there will be a new correct version for this confirmation."I don't know, if this software improvement is already finished
now or still under developement? anyway ... making software is a
difficult job ! My problem at the moment is that I have a few QSOs @Hamlog which are not imported by mydx.eu. They all are showing up as confirmed (green) in the hamlog "HQSL" menu. In some cases I have asked the OPs to add their RDA to hamlog. Some have done this, all looks correct, but no success, no import to "mydx". Possibly they have to delete it and make a new entry of the QSO to obtain a result. Example: R7MH --> see appendix (no entry in County/Loc) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another problem ... On the page mydx.eu --> "Stations Online" I often see new RDAs scrolling by, which seem to be not correct.Examples: RT5T is displayed as NN-15, but mostly he is in NN-33. RM8W is often displayed as BA-05, but "RDAsearch" says: ----------------------------------- BA-05 RM8W 2019-10-17 BA-42 QRZ.ru 2021-07-02 ----------------------------------- I got it confirmed as BA-42 but I need BA-05 !!!! what is correct ?? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Champs of the Year 2021:------------------------- I find it not a good idea to encourage OMs to make dupes in order to get points for this "kind of contest". The chance for newcomers obtaining a new RDA is decreased this way. I'm now on place Nr. 98 in the "Champs of the year list" without making dupes intentionally. Have a nice weekend and good hunting.

Myself started in late March 2021 from 484 and now 1411 cfm'ed, ~100 waiting for to. Having a very small "in the middle of the city" stn I'm happy with this number. I fully agree you wrote. However I would go a step further. RDA is addictive... :-D By now I set my daily schedule to fit into the gaps in RK3AW's or UB8S's plans... ;-) 73! Csaba HA3LN

Photos, activation reports etc ... ??
Hi RDA friends
Already from my youth I'm interested in Russia. (My final thesis at school was "The Russian Revolution" !) I'm still very interested in the daily life, nature, people of Russia. When working remote RDA's trying to figure out where and how they operate (Google Earth and Wikepedia are a good help) I wonder if there are any (Russian) Facebook pages where activations reports etc are published? I'm seeing some photos on Tnxqso but so far that's all. And is there any interest to start up an English speaking Facebook group for RDA chasers and activators ? 73 DSW ON4VT aka OT4V

RDA 2500 in a year?
Iztok Saje
Hello!
Regions page on mydx.eu was looked a bit, to get some stats. For each Rayon, there is date and call for last confirmed QSO. This QSO is either uploaded to mydx, hamlog or LotW, as well as direct QSLs scanned (maybe even some via buro). Now, assume some necommer starts RDA, and never miss one. 2500 since August 5th, 2020. 14 months of activity. 2000 since Jully 17th, 2021 (3 months) 1500 since September 6th, 2021 (1 month and 1 week) 1000 since October 2nd, 2021. So far, 2425 RDAs were QRV and confirmed in 2021. RA9AJ with 2268 is close: he only missed 157 RDAs in this year. We wait Gena (and some others) to upload more LOGs, there are RDAC contest LOGs waiting, and three months of activity. That would indicate RDA 2500 can theoretically be done in one year. And on my side: I started RDA hunting after RA3R spam in November 2020 with standing of some 700. After checking paper QSLs, LotW, registering to HAMLOG and making QSOs, I come to: 2067 confirmed. 1957 confirmed in 2021. I have 18 RDAs not QRV in 2021: 4 out of 100 rarest. 376 RDAs were missed in 2021: 4 weeks of vacations in 9A, QRL, sleeping, bad CONDX, QRL. Hunters excuses ... Thanks to activators and authors of excellent support software, RDA program is fun every day. 73 gl, CU in the next pileup Iztok, S52D
