Dear Morten!
I have combined the statistics for your call signs. The main call sign is LB8DC. I perfectly remember your former call sign LA9DFA and your expeditions. I hope you will also find your interest in RDA.

Thanks for clarifying.  Your standpoint is accepted.

Myself I have never been into e-QSL before, until recently while getting more seriously chasing RDA’s

I stopped accepting eQSL for one reason, I am not satisfied with the QSO offset algorithm, when you can easily confirm the RDA without even conducting a QSO, but send your log to the correspondent.

No one checks the QSO, but presses the cfm button!

running pileup

Iztok Saje

Hi!

There are two reasons why I do RDA: good OPs running nice pileups, and mydx.eu SW support.

Recently we had some RDA activators who got lost with pileup, people get nervous and QSO rate was very low.
Increased RDA popularity means more callers: and sometimes we "fight" to be among  those 100 QSOs from rare district.

Maybe quick guide:
- do split. Also in SSB.
- use RIT: make every QSO on different RX QRG.
Yes, we have some excellent contest OPs who can run CW pileup in simplex.

“The pileup is a reflection of the operator on the DX side.” – said Dmitri, RA9USU

Very good text about running pileups is "It Takes Two to Tango" by OH2BH, downloadble at
http://www.jdunman.com/ww/AmateurRadio/DXing/It%2520Takes%2520Two%2520to%2520Tango%2520Part%2520I.pdf

It would be nice if activators can read it. This forum is wrong place, but maybe Roman and Aadu can do more something to reach
new activators?

Smooth pileup will make both activator and chasers more happy.

Iztok!
I left only the eQSL, which were counted by me for the previous degrees of RDA diplomas. For example, RA3R declared in 2010 eQSL TB-02 and the call sign RX3RC, this area was counted by me, now only this e-QSL I can take into account. All others are rejected regardless of the date of the QSO.

Rudy!
There is a strict rule for HQSL, the correct RDA number must be specified in the corresponding HQSL field. In this case, the area is counted automatically when the databases are synchronized.
All other options are rejected.

Re: lotw-import

Dear Chris!
Yes, if the second column is empty, it means that this call sign was in one RDA all the time, different options and different dates are indicated in the second column, just for LoTW, you can not upload a scan if several RDA are specified in the RDA database for one date. The station changed its position and LoTW does not give an accurate RDA, such scans are rejected.
And the third column is the source of information, you are right.

This is the tutorial page I was looking for !! Thank you !!.

Regarding the RDA callsign data base @ https://cfmrda.ru/#/callsignsRda
there are 3 columns, first column is evidently the RDA-Nr., the 2nd column sometimes is empty or a date (time range) is filled in.
You wrote ... the RDA number and date must exactly match. Does this mean when the second column is empty (because it is for example a fixed station, no need for a date) thus only the RDA code must match ?
And what means the 3rd column ? Data source and entry time ?

Hi, Iztok!
I understand, but I would not be sure about correct info... LotW and Clublog mostly use data from QRZ.com and many of them are wrong. QTH loc, County...
Only relevant data for RDA is Autocfm, mydx and Hamlog... or QSL card.
Many of Russian stations are not on LotW and specially mobile and portable ststions. Latest are not.

Just in LotW open details of confirmed QSO, push "Print Screen" / copy/past- open Irfan view -> paste and you have picture.
LotW does not charge to see your own log and charge nothing untill you ask for award...and does not charge for upload your QSO...
Irfanview is free, LotW is free to participate and upload QSO.

Don't complcate with no reason.
