LGBTQA+ craft night at NW Yarns and more news
Next Wednesday Dinner will be at Skylarks, 1308 11th in Fairhaven District. Starts around 5 pm September 25.
Northwest Yarns (1401 Commercial) is starting a monthly LGBTQA+ craft night. The shop welcomes folk to come and spend time socializing while working on crochet, basketry, cross-stitch, knitting. Well, pretty much anything. Meet some great people. Specifically intended as an alternative to the bar scene.
You don't have to know how to crochet or knit. Melissa Wisener or Richard Pearce-Moses will get you going. You'll need a hook or needles, as well as some yarn - all available at the shop. You can make a simple hat faster than you might think, and learn as skill that's quiet and meditative.
September 25th 6-8 pm
