Hi Rosanne, Sounds like a great list! I will bring some boxes. I talked to Barbara last week and she suggested threatening the membership with dissolution if someone didn't step up. She has seen that work before. She didn't think the societies would merge unless the Pineland's people came to S. Jersey. I hope we can get someone tomorrow night! See you then! Sherron

We want to thank everyone who participated at the recent Annual Auction.  The May Auction was a real bargain for anyone who walked away with a plant last week.

As we prepare for the Annual Awards presentation, we would to get an approximate head count of members who are planning to attend the June 5, 2018 meeting.  We are canvassing potential locations for dinner and awards presentations.  Dinner will be paid by the club.

Please note, only paid members will be considered for the Awards  -- Best Greenhouse Grower, Best Windowsill Grower, Tony Petralia Award (Best Paph. or Phrag.) and Pat Di Santo Award (Best Unusual Species or hybrid).

In addition, the Nominating Committee requested for additional time, no elections were held last week.  The slate of officers will be presented by the Nominating Committee before the Awards presentation.  Elections will be held on Tuesday night, June 5, 2018.

As you all know by now, I am moving to Denver, and our moving date has moved up to very soon!  I will not be taking my Plant Light Cart to Denver.  I have been successfully growing Paphs, Phals, and some Gesneriads on this light cart in my basement. There are three tiers, each with its own light unit and each with its own control.  You can either connect all three of the lights and put them on a timer, or you can set them up individually if you like.  The light cart is on wheels which makes it easy to move around, and each level holds four trays with drainage grids.  See photo below.

The first person who contacts me is the lucky winner of this light cart!  My only condition is that you MUST please come and get this light cart ASAP, preferably this next coming week.

Please email me with the best way to reach you and I will contact you to arrange for pickup.

Hi Rosanne, bob and I are looking forward to the dinner on Tuesday. It look like the slate of officers is Marie and Mike sharing presidential duties and Mike Horn as treasurer. Unless of course, someone else wants to volunteer! Hopefully the club will go on and we will have a good year next year. See you on Tuesday. Sherron

Pinelands Orchid Society Awards Dinner will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at BRIO Tuscan Grille.
