Yes! The county chair is the most powerful elected official in the city and/or state in addressing the houselessness crisis. Meieran has consistently pushed against the county’s housing first strategy and criticized its inaction on following throughs with Built for Zero. It’s time we stop confusing compassion with inhumane neglect.
