Choya Renata
Hello,
My name is Choya; I use she/her pronouns. I do community engagement work on affordable housing program for Metro! I am looking to connect with “ordinary people” – those who are not professionally employed in housing/homeless services or related areas – who are advocates for affordable housing and for destigmatizing poverty in their own communities (business, neighborhood, faith org, etc). And those who have lived experience with housing instability/houselessness, who want to share their stories and advocate. My project will bring these folks together from across the Portland Metro region to share peer support and strategies.
Feel free to contact me if you want to connect or have ideas. I look forward to listening and learning more about this group!
Choya Renata
My gender pronouns: she, her, hers. Metro | oregonmetro.gov In alignment with social distancing efforts to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, I am working remotely. You may contact me via phone or email.
