CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING Portland City Council will hold a public hearing on the Shelter to Housing Continuum proposals that would regulate housing and shelter options throughout the city. In addition to current programmed shelters, other formal options are being explored, including outdoor shelters or tiny house villages). Other proposed housing options include micro-apartments with shared kitchens as well as other group living or housing arrangements.
The recommended proposals will be considered by City Council at a public hearing on March 17 at 2 p.m. The public is invited to submit formal comments (public testimony) to City Council remotely at that time or in writing via the Map App.
Submitting written testimony online is as easy as sending an email. Visit the Map App and then click “Testify.” Written testimony will be accepted until 2 p.m. on March 17. You can also submit by emailing to the Council Clerk at cctestimony@....
