Warning message if everything can not be cut?

HI JJ,

Fine work you have done!
I have cut a little PCB today, it went very well. However, after
inspection I found 3 islands that were supposed to be separate, but
where still together because they were to close together.
In this case, it was obvious, and I spotted the fault immediately
"after" the PCB was made. In a more complex and bigger PCB, it could be
that it was not seen and therefore might blow up things after al is
mounted, not to speak of the work afterwards to do the separation
manually.
Would it not be possible to create a warning message of such errors when
the G-code is made, if possible with indication of where the problem(s)
exists? Then, it could be repaired before cutting and before damage is
done, and also safe the work to separate the island.

Thanks,

Willy

In the Tools menu click on DRC

This is the design rules for the board you are making. Usually (Default)

Click on the "Check" button will show any issues like you describe.

Thanks Ted,
But:
In the design rules it is ok on the particular areas.
As far as I know, cutting or not cutting a particular isolation line is
dependant of the thickness of the cutter. This was not seen by the DRC
of Eagle. I think that a warning by PCB-GCODE would not be out of its
place.

Once again, Eagle's DRC did not spot the problem, and it was not cut by
PCB-GCODE.

In the Files area of this group is a file called pcb-gcode.dru
download this file to the dru folder in your Eagle program folder.

Then on the Tools DRU tab there is a Load button to load the new design rules

You might find these work better.

Yes Ted,
Ok that will work better.
But again here:

Say for instance I have set a cutter size or the default insulation to
1.5mm in PCB-GCODE-setup (I know this is exaggerated), then, whatever
you do in Eagle, it will not cut certain cuts that are narrower the
above. This is what I would like to have in a warning.
When (like me) am not using the program on a daily bases, then one tent
to forget certain things.

Thank you for your answers.
