Attempting to load into Eagle 9.4.2 reports your downloaded ".brd" file as not being an Eagle file!!??
If you prepared it with an earlier version and can import into "9.4.x", the is an toolbar icon which will automatically generate all the Gerber files required by any pcb manufacturer. One manufacturer (in China) I have used personally accepted the automatically produced .zip file and made excellent boards from it. Sorry can't be more helpful. Peter

Wow
Thanks for the help and support
I downloaded the file from a site - not I created it ( https://github.com/0xPIT/reflowOvenController )
I found another file in the library that only with him, I can open the BRD
Maybe it can help someone help me ...
Many thanks to everyone who made the effort to help Yoram

Downloaded "O" file and renamed as "O.zip". Imported into Eagle 9.4.2 and prepared CAM file as ".zip" file. This checks out with Gerber viewer on all layers and should be good to go for manufacture.
All the files attached for your information. Peter

F.Y.I download Gerberlogicx from their website to view Gerber files directly from dated .zip file (attached to previous reply).

I would recommend to watch my video first before you order the PCB 😋

Well
Thank you all for your help
Special thanks to Patrick
After this video I realized that the project was not really ready for production
And accordingly. Not going to build it
It's a shame that I have already ordered all the components :(
If someone knows a similar project that can be built, I would thank him best regards Yoram

Hi Peter, my name is Jim, and I reading your post about spot drill holes. The word in your article "pcgcode"
should read pcbgcode ? Sorry about if i'm wrong, but my etching gcode file not placeing spot drill holes. Try to find answares all ove the net to my problem, no luck. It also doesn't generate drill and mill files. It shows this error "Improperly formatted rack entry" . I had to reinstall windows10 ever since this problem showed up. Before had no problem at all useing Eagle 7.0.6 and Pcb-gcode 3.6.2.4 try to use different drillrack files, but reading your posting this shouldn't be my problem. Sorry to bother you all of this, but I'm trying to find solution for this problem. Any help or idea would be appreciated. Best regards.

Abrazo mario

Hi John, despite my little programming knowledge, I get progress. Returning to the issue of using two strawberries, the concern is the following, if you can guide me: on what file to work to see how the routes are generated and able to modify, pcb-gcode.ulp?
The objective is:
1- Main: Obtain the intersection plot on the routes generated by overlap (that is, what your program eliminates when you make solid union of two islands with large diameter bits)
This would already have more than 60% of the goal achieved.
2- Generate file with intersect name.
3- The next step should make a difference between what was obtained and the route of
minimum bit
In the worst case, I could work on this from bcnc with python
As I told you, the objective I have achieved, it works well for few traces, but it is too slow for a small pcb
I consult you: Does your software work only within Eagle, or can it work on different programs that generate Gerber?
Sorry if it was not the right place for these queries.
Hug Mario.

Do you have any idea, why it;s behave like this ? Regards, Richi Richardo

Dear Fellows I used for the last 2 years this software a few times, but always run fine, some months ago when I tried use this my bitdefender show me some warning messages and delete or "destroy" something in Gcode. Now on my designed boards on Eagle when I try to run pcb-gcode no "black" windows appears but in bin I found only bot.drill. file. Can some of you help me here? My very thanks in advance. Jose Santos

#GCODE
#gcode
How does GCODE work with Eagle ?
Is it via the gerber files and drill file ? Or does it use Eagle internal files ?
|

Re: #GCODE

Art Eckstein
My understanding is it uses the internal files and spits out the Gcode according to which profile you use. You do not export the gerber or drl files at all.

If one does not have automatic tool change can the output be just etching or drilling. So if ran twice with different option each operation can be done independently?
