Hello,

There is a meeting of the OU Astronomy Club tomorrow, starting at 7:30pm.

The speaker is Nick Hewitt, who will talk about the Shapley-Curtis debate of 1920 on the Scale of the Universe.

We will be having a meal beforehand at the Olde Swann, Woughton on the Green. Please let me know by first thing tomorrow morning if you'd like to join us.

Re Space News tomorrow.

Hi.  I am preparing the Space News for tomorrow's meeting. 

However I am not certain whether I will be able to be there, as I have an early start on Wednesday to go on a holiday...    ;-)

Alternatives:

1)  Send the file to a member of the 'committee' so that he can present it.

2) Send to everyone.

3) Just load onto the website as for previous months.

Thoughts???

How about uploading it anyway and then, if necessary, someone from the club can present it.

 

I, for one, look forward to hearing your bit in the evening's presentation, and it would be nice to have it even if you can't make it.
