It's a lovely clear sky this evening!
Grrr!
I wonder how far apart they are now.

Re: Venus-Neptune appulse
No chance of clear skies. It's now nearly 4pm and total cloud cover.
Best wishes

Re: Venus-Neptune appulse
Today's forecast on 'Clear Outside' is discouraging. And I am not feeling well. If the sky clears, I will drag myself and 8"SCT out to the backyard for a quick look.

Sheridan,
I wonder if you have a feel for whether or not it's going to be worth going to the OU observatory
tomorrow.
Hope so!
Cheers,
Adrian

Re: Venus-Neptune appulse
Sheridan,
this would be nice to see.
I could come, but I'd have to leave at 7:30 for choir rehearsal.
Cheers,
Adrian

Venus-Neptune appulse
Just a reminder that on 27 Jan Venus and Neptune will be only 5 arcmin apart at around 7pm.
Should be able to get an image with a small telescope, I'll be using my DSLR with 400mm lens
