I am going to be in Newport on Monday. I'll get a can of satin just to be certain they are compatible at England's (sp). In reality I'm wasting my time worrying about the finish. Every boat or camper

I'm happy with how the finish comes out & I'm using teak stain Cetol. Do I need to get clear to finish it? If I have to I would use a satin if they make it.

I'm trying to use Cetol on my trim. When I bought the can I coated some trim ( on the bottom of the trailer) It set up & is hard to the touch. When I coated the trim on the door, it stayed sticky for

I like the soaking in part of cetol. The trailer will be out in the sun when it's used, so I think the chemicals being imbedded in the wood would probably be a good thing. I'm not going to keep the tr

I really didn't want a shiny finish, but I would like the finish to last. Being out in the sun is necessary.

Sounds like cetol might do it for me. Soaking it into the wood appeals to me. Being a camp trailer, it will be out in the sun most of the time. Maybe it will hold up the best.

Do you use the varnish, in my case Cetol on the bare wood? Home Depot has some kind of primer for varnish. I've never used it.
