Thanks, Cal, but I don't have room for more bookcases! Give 'em to some other Coot.

I've got several (5? 6?) 9mm (~3/8) marine ply. One is broken athwartships, making a 5' and 3' piece. I'd let you have that one for free. The others can go for $50 each (should be a good savings)

I don't need the kayak panels.

I didn't like the idea of cutting up the master panels, but I'd like to finish that swing up rudder. This is Monday the 28th. --- probably will be cut by Thursday morning (call 541-895-2679 Leave Message) if nobody needs them. I do have a thinner piece, but i'm saving that for a top cover or other details. The kayak panels must go to make room asap.

Coot Library Question ?? Maybe for Our "Librarian", hi John

lendercal@...

Are the books shown as held by Terry Lesh the ones "eaten" by the Creswell library, or did some survive to read again??   On a related subject, I saved some novels, and books I no longer need on boating.  Do we have a time to exchange them, or donate to the club ??  If I haven't figured it out by now, I probably don't need whatever it was, really.

I brought some boxes of books to a previous pizza feed in Salem  -- would that work again this year ??   If so maybe others might like to join in this effort.   The Portland library seems like another good event, but not everybody attends, or not as many as a pizza feed, no surprise there.

PS -- I would like to "cadge" a ride With John K. if it's on his schedule, or maybe borrow the wife's car or whatever works for as many as want to attend,

Thanks,   Cal

I brought Big Blue to The Canyon Quarry ramp at noon today. Turns out that I was the only one who assumed the messabout would be on Saturday. (Maybe, John, you should include a notice with the calendars telling us that they are not just something pretty to look at but have really useful information about dates. :-).

The river was really full (of water - no bozts) today. Overflowing it's banks and flooding the tidelands with brown water. Looks like more of the same tomorrow, with a more wind to boot.  I'll try to be there, but I don't think I can stay for fine dining at Pig Feathers.

Disney's Moana is a lot of fun for boat people - it has some good jokes in there. The boats are fun to look at, too.

Easily my favorite Disney Princess movie - and if you have the opportunity to see it in 3D, you should, it is visually stunning.

We'll leave the Canyon Quarry ramp about noon and will meet for BBQ in Toledo after the boats are hauled out.
