That is heavy, I think Jerrys is 4 oz., but it's been a wile. I plan on using my 2 oz, and I have some half that for fine finishing. So, nope there is a whole range of stuff, and that's not counting

Yes, I noticed that before, they don’t seem to have light OZ glass cloth. You might try calling them to ask?
We used polyester glass on the prototype vehicles, but we are now using vacuum formed ABS

I couldn't find any 'glass lighter than 8.8 oz. on the Soller Composites site. Was I just looking in the wrong place? That's heavier than we usually use for small boats.

These guys have WONDERFUL prices on fabrics, I bought some 3k carbon at $18 vs $45 from FIBERGLAST.
Unfortunately it seems they don't carry light OZ fibreglass cloth.
