Looks like the Triton Yacht Club's Derring-Do Dinghy Dash will indeed be finishing at Shorelane Park while the Coots are there. :o) Should be fun, but somebody needs to bake a cake for them.

At the same Old place -- 4 Spirits distillery -- a bit north of the Corvallis airport. They've got a small menu with some good lunch stuff, and a roomy outdoor space to eat with a Giant forced air

I have a 6 hp Tohatsu on Moonlit Turtle and it pushes it faster than computed hull speed at 1/4 to 1/3 throttle. Because of the drift boat rockered shaped bottom, any more throttle just

If you're gonna park your rig near the boat ramp, even just for a little while, you'll need a parking pass. They'll give you one at the campground office when you check in, if you ask, or you can get

John,
Yes Orca is looking for a new home. And would be suitable for electric power.
I have to agree that Scandal isn’t a good choice for electric use.
As much as I like the thought of electric

As to the expense of batteries; my Torqeedo Travel 1003 has a built-in battery. No added expense unless you want the larger capacity version.
Thanks John for posting the Atkin drawing for scandal,

Suzuki 4 strokes future is Shaky
Good motor, but I just can't seem to love gas power.. I don't know if it will stay past the twins getting a Pro rebuild, in the next couple months. I will remove them as soon as the weather gets

Re: If you were looking for a new outboard
When I built Dr. Petra electric wasn’t the option chosen.....were I building her today electric would take priority. Yes, the initial cost is high, but the environmentally moral choice calls for it.
