I grew up in Ireland. Most coastal towns are very small and exposed, and there is not good place to keep these boats on the water, or a good slipway. So they make some interesting custom

Tough boats, tough crews. I've toured these types of boats and spoke to crews in Scotland, England, and the same type of organization in Ireland and France. Inspirational.

It was a nice gathering, to bad you had to miss it Andy. It was nice to talk with Teri and Quinn, and meet some of Lon's friends and relatives. Lon was indeed s good man. I'll sure miss him.

Lon's ashes
We just spread Lon's ashes from the Vashon ferry by Point Defiance. They planned to stop the ferry briefly and we were supposed to just drop the bag. But I let them fly loose instead.
