Hi Cal – I have been using the Kipawa prop with a 100AH lithium battery on SCAMP. With the Minnkota 45 at 40% it runs a little under 2mph for 3 to 4 hours and is always over 13 volts when I get back to the dock. At 70% it goes about 3mph.
Going downwind at full throttle it bounces between 3.8mph in some chop and 6mph on the face of a swell. When charged the battery starts out at 14.2V. I will probably stay with this setup until the rim drive motors with variable props come down in price.
