Reading through the posts it seems to me that the question of supported bandwiths seems to be a major issue. I would like to improve documentation by creating some table - but I need input! Hence I would like to ask the community to reply to this topic providing the following information: - Used SDR: <DummySDR> - Working Bandwiths: <1.1Ms> - Used Computer System / Version: <Raspberry 3+> - Used decoders: <APRS,FT8> Please make sure these bandwiths are actually working (voice sounds normal, digital decoders such as FT8 are decoding something ...) It is perfectly possible to run for example a SDRPlay at a bandwith which is unsuitable -> no decodes but not also no error. Of course the selected bandwith should also not overload the CPU ;-) Thanks in advance & 73 Birk [DB3DE]

Hello radio enthusiasts, today we'd like to announce the release of the next version of OpenWebRX, your SDR webserver that just got a bit more universal. This release contains some major fixes and cleanup work that address long-term reliability for sites with high amounts of traffic along with some new features, so check it out! Added support for decoding the FreeDV mode. Please see the FreeDV notes on the wiki for more information about the installation of codec2 since this requires some extra steps. Added support for wideband FM (aka broadcast FM) so you can now listen to FM radio stations (or other similar broadcasts). This comes along a new audio delivery pipeline that, for the first time, allows higher sample rate audio to be delivered to the client (up to 48kHz). Added support for decoding DRM broadcasts using the dream decoder. Please see the DRM notes on the wiki for installation instructions since this requires the compilation of a version of dream without its GUI. The audio AGC has been reworked and should now produce better results for AM and SSB modes. NFM now has an AGC (again), too. The waterfall now features the "Turbo" colormap by default. Please note that you will need to merge this part of the configuration if you are on an existing installation. There's now a new, experimental "continuous automatic waterfall calibration" available. Right-click the "auto-adjust waterfall colors" button to give it a try. Feedback welcome! New devices: added support for the FunCube Dongle Pro+ and added a new connector for remote devices available through "rtl_tcp". Many fixes for filedescriptor and thread leaks to prevent "too many open files" errors that made OpenWebRX unusable after some time (depending on traffic). Fixed an error where the connectors wouldn't accept new connections after some time (depending on traffic). The new release is now available via the usual upgrade and download channels, please check out the OpenWebRX homepage for more information. Best regads and vy 73s Jakob DD5JFK P.S. As usual, this topic will be pinned and locked due to it being a "special notice" that does not follow normal E-Mail settings that individual group members have set up. This measure is not intended to discourage discussion in any way though, feel free to open new topics about whatever feedback or questions you may have.

RTL-SDR V3 Dongle - rf_gain 10 messages
I'm doing some tests with the Dongle V3 RTL-SDR, unfortunately I can't make it more sensitive in HF. By modifying rf_gain I don't get any results, it always seems to stay at rf_gain: 0, please do you
