Leyland Olympian / Alexander, E301 MSG, was thought to have been scrapped by an unidentified local breaker, for scrap, ex-Discover Dorset Ltd. (City Sightseeing Bournemouth), England, c.11/16.
It has been discovered for sale in Castellón de la Plana, Spain, having been converted into a ‘food truck’.
It’s in a brown and cream livery lettered as ‘Street Bus’.

This was new to Lothian Region Transport plc (301), Edinburgh, Scotland, 4/88, as H51/30D. Converted to open top, O51/28F, 3/99, liveried for The Edinburgh Classic Tour (white/blue). Named ‘Pentland Star’. Company renamed Lothian Buses plc, 1/00. Transferred to Tappin, Didcot, 7/00, reliveried for The associated Oxford Classic Tour. The Oxford tour was operated in partnership with Tappin, Didcot, Oxfordshire, on the Tappin licence, and the buses were allocated there whilst remaining owned by Lothian Buses. Returned to Edinburgh, 10/02. Transferred to Edinburgh Tours Limited (301), 11/02. Repainted into 2002 Edinburgh Tours (green/cream) livery, 3/03. Renumbered to 241, 1/09. Withdrawn, 9/09. Sold to Ensign (dealer), Purfleet, 1/10; To Discover Dorset, Bournemouth, 4/10, for the City Sightseeing Bournemouth tour. Reported to unidentified local breaker, for scrap, c.11/16. Found for sale on internet, 7/22, in Castellón de la Plana, Spain, converted as a food truck, in a brown and cream livery.
