Further to my message of yesterday, I am informed today that the former proprietor of Seaford and District Motor Services, David Mulpeter, has retained the Eastbourne Sightseeing operation and Heritage fleets, and these will now be operated by his much smaller new business called Seven Sisters Bus and Coach.
There is a Facebook page for Seven Sisters Bus and Coach enthusiasts which can be followed should anyone like to follow news from the company

For those who have been following recent updates to www.opentopbus.net , you will have seen that First Group is expanding its UK open top operations for 2021. In addition to the large intake of open top vehicles by First South West for new leisure ventures in Cornwall / Devon / Somerset (details of which should be available soon) and newer vehicles for the Bright Bus operation in Scotland, this past week has seen the transfer of 3 part open toppers (W801/2/12 PAE) from First West of England at Western-super-Mare to First Cymru at Swansea. However, this reduces the open top fleet at Weston from 5 to 2.
Can anyone say whether replacements are now due at Weston, or whether this signals a scaling back of open top operation there, please?
