Table Ideas for the M17

For those that have or are considered the M17, I was wondering what tables you like or don’t like and why.
It’s a big machine with and without the embroidery unit attached. I’m curious what others are using.

IF I had decided to get an M17, I was planning to go with a Husky shop workbench from Home Depot.  They have some nice height adjustable ones that are actually pretty affordable.  And because they are designed for tools to be mounted on them, they are pretty vibration resistant.

I used a flat 26" wide and about 46" long.  It was fine for me .

I have mine on a 52 inch Husky adjustable workbench

Is the Husky work table deep enough?

I find it is,  I originally bought it for the M7.  The embroidery unit does over hang, however.

I bought the Husky work table from Home Depot ( https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-52-in-Adjustable-Height-Workbench-Table-with-2-Drawers-in-White-HOLT5202BJ1/307723266 ) and my M17 fits on it perfectly - I have approximately 6" space on the left of the machine (where plug and usb ports are) and approximately 4 inches to the right of the embroidery unit on the right.  There is approximately 5" space on the back of the machine/embroidery unit on the work table and 1-1/2" space on the front of the machine/embroidery unit on the work table.  The arm part of the embroidery unit will extend a bit and more as the embroidery unit stitches BUT, if you don't have the backside of the table against a wall, there's no problem.  I have the right side of the table against the wall and the backside of the table is open to the room.  Hope that helps.  Dottie in Texas

I just re-read my note - CORRECTION - 6" space is on the RIGHT side of the machine and 4" space is on the LEFT side of the machine (as you're facing the front of the machine).  I was looking at it from the BACK of the machine when I was typing my first note.  So sorry for any confusion.  Dottie in Texas
