My 15000 Updates

I just want to say that the updates to the app are really great! I'm browsing through them and see that you have addressed so many of the issues that have come up as topics of discussion within our group.
Thank you! Job well done!

We appreciate the feedback. As usual, once the app goes live in the store I find bugs. In this case they are cosmetic. I'm polishing now, and will have a 1.5.1 release as soon as I finish. Fortunately none of the bugs are show-stoppers, and they mostly involve proper placement of the "New" badge on updated items.

I need some help getting to the new update.  I can't find it live in the store.  Thanks in advance for directions.  Donna Brooke

On your iPhone or iPad go to http://my15000.com. Tap on the button that says "Available on the App Store". When asked if you want to open the App Store tap "Open". You will see a cloud icon with an arrow coming out of it. Tap that and you will get updated.

I don't see the cloud icon.  All I see is the preview information.  Hmmm.

That's what you will see if you open the link on your computer. Try this instead:
  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. At the bottom of the screen tap "Updates". My 15000 should be in there. Just tap it to install, or tap "Update all".
  3. If you don't see it there tap "Search" and enter "My 15000" in the search box. You should then see the cloud icon, although there may be another app (Some kind of casino app) that opens as well in that search. Ignore it.
  4. If you bought the app as part of a bundle you may need to go to the bundle page. Tap the My 15000 preview to open that app, then scroll down to the bundles. They won't show on iPhone, because one of the apps in the bundle is iPad only.
  5. If all else fails, contact Apple support: https://support.apple.com/billing

Is there a tutorial to give a total picture of how to use all the new advances of the upgrades.  Thank you in advance.

We have videos for each of the new feet, as well as the Layout function in Horizon Link Suite. We’ve also added a video for AcuSetter, although it was not part of the update. Thanks for asking!

They are in the My 15000 app for iPhone/iPad. See this page: http://my15000.com

I want to order the apps, need exact amount is there shipping and handling etc.

onlinesewing@...

Our apps are for iPhone and iPad only. There is no shipping or handling. You simply open the App Store, search for My 15000 or FootBook and tap to purchase. If you don't want to entrust Apple with your credit card you can buy iTunes gift cards at the "big box" stores and use those. I should point out, though, that most of the big box stores (looking at you Target!) have had credit card information stolen. Apple has not.

If you don't have an iPhone or iPad we cannot help. We do not have the resources to do Android, nor the time, nor the money to buy all the devices necessary for testing. The fact that Janome has embraced iOS devices underscores our decision to support them.

I’m trying to work out if I should get the Janome workbooks for the presser feet. I have the apps, including the updates for the My 15000 and the FootBook, and I’m not sure if the cost of the workbooks will be unnecessary when I have the apps already. Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

I’m behind, and just watched the quiltmaker upgrade videos.  Wonderful and helpful.  Thanks Diane and Jim!  I think I still need to find the new help videos.

If your 12000 reads Version 1.2.  that is and will be the last update and upgrade for the Janome 12.000.  It was one of my favorite machines.  I had it for 6 and 1/2 years before my 15,000 Quiltmaker.

I think I watched most of the videos, but didn’t find the new troubleshooter videos.  Is it because I have the older ipad?  I updated again this morning to make sure.
