monofilament thread

Which bobbin holder should I use when using monofilament thread in the top with 50wt in the bobbin? Red, yellow or blue? I’ll be appliquéing onto 100% cotton, using the buttonhole stitch.

I would use the regular or red bobbin. Applique is a decorative regular sewing stitch so that is why I suggested that. Pat
